Usually not many classic car fans would follow a lengthy 2-hour presentation to launch a new phone like the Apple iPhone 11. However, quite a few fans in the US had to struggle… tune in to the livestream as they heard news of the presence of classic cars, and even vintage sports cars at this event.
Specifically, after more than 50 minutes into the presentation, a nearly 1-minute clip of three 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle, 1968 Camaro, and 1971 Chevelle was unexpectedly showcased. All three were seen on the Bonneville Salt Flats – a place where hundreds of speed records for both two-wheelers and four-wheelers worldwide are broken.
However, Apple’s goal was not to emphasize the speed of the three cars but rather to demonstrate the ability to shoot crisp 4K video with every detail and the perfect contrast between the white/gray background of Bonneville and the vibrant bright tones of the three Chevy cars. According to Apple, users can use their phones to capture high-quality exhibitions or races and easily edit them.
