Recently, billionaire Cuong Dola unexpectedly posted images of his latest motorcycle in his collection.
According to the content shared on Facebook, this is a gift from a friend to the mountain tycoon.
Notably, this new motorcycle is the Yamaha PG-1 model, which was introduced in Vietnam on December 2nd. The motorcycle owned by singer Dam Thu Trang’s husband has a blue exterior. Details such as the seat, rear light, and dashboard still have a protective nylon cover.
It is known that the Yamaha PG-1 model currently has a selling price of nearly 30.5 million VND in the Vietnamese market. The estimated on-road price is around 34 million VND. Customers can also purchase genuine upgrade accessory packages for the PG-1, such as Casual, Camper, or Tracker, with prices ranging from 3.2 to 10.7 million VND.
PG-1 is a new segment-expanding model with no competitors in the Vietnamese market. In some other markets, the motorcycle will compete with the Honda CT125.
The Yamaha PG-1 has a robust and tough appearance. The front of the motorcycle leaves an impression with a classic round headlight cluster, a minimalistic analog gauge cluster, and a flat handlebar.
The tail of the motorcycle has a similar design to the headlight, with separate turn signals. The PG-1’s seat is split, with a longer front seat to give the rider more flexibility in various riding positions, suitable for both urban and long-distance travel. The slim body makes it easier to place feet on the ground and control the motorcycle.
The handlebar is lightweight, stiff, optimized in size and design, serving various comfortable riding positions such as sitting or standing. All functional buttons (engine start, passing, turn signals, engine cut-off, horn) are fully arranged and in easily accessible positions.
Powering the PG-1 is a 4-stroke, SOHC, 113.7cc, 2-valve, fuel-injected, air-cooled engine. It features high torque efficiency, ease of use, and low fuel consumption. Suitable for multipurpose use, from daily commuting in the city to weekend getaways.
The power and torque of the engine are transferred through a 4-speed gearbox with an automatic centrifugal clutch. Along with a shorter secondary gear ratio (Finn: 40:14 → PG-1: 40:13), it creates strong acceleration and pulling force.
The Yamaha PG-1 can be considered the lowest-priced motorcycle in the mountain tycoon’s collection. Previously, on his birthday in February, businessman Cuong Dola was also gifted a 2-stroke Yamaha 125ZR with an estimated purchase price of at least 400 million VND.
