Koenigsegg Chicago dealership has recently closed a deal on a Regera vehicle for Hoang Kim Khanh at an astounding price of only $2.9 million. However, they are now offering another one for sale, priced at a staggering $4.7 million, which is $1.8 million higher than the previous deal.

The Koenigsegg Regera is a high-end, luxury hypercar that is even more powerful than other hypercar models. Naturally, the price tag for this car is quite expensive. Only a total of 80 Regera supercars have been produced by the Swedish automaker, with prices starting from $1.9 million. It is no surprise that when Hoang Kim Khanh decided to purchase a Koenigsegg Regera, many were taken aback by the businessman’s extravagance.

It is worth noting that Hoang Kim Khanh asked a friend in the United States to purchase the Koenigsegg Regera on his behalf and have it shipped to Cambodia. He then completed all the necessary procedures to register the car in his name before obtaining the necessary permits to drive it in Vietnam. Interestingly, Hoang Kim Khanh stated that he paid $5 million for the Koenigsegg Regera, while the dealership only sold it for $2.9 million.

Recently, netizens were surprised to see a Koenigsegg Regera being offered for sale at nearly $5 million, the same price that Hoang Kim Khanh had hoped to achieve for his car two years ago. This particular Koenigsegg Regera is being sold by Koenigsegg Chicago. They revealed that the car is a 2021 model and has already been driven for over 1,017 miles, equivalent to 1,636 kilometers. This mileage is nine times higher than the mileage when the dealership sold the Koenigsegg Regera to Hoang Kim Khanh.

Koenigsegg Chicago has set the price for this 2021 Koenigsegg Regera at $4.7 million, which is $1.8 million higher than the price at which Hoang Kim Khanh purchased his car. Many people believe that the price of used Regera cars has significantly increased, and Vietnamese millionaires who own one could potentially profit from selling it, contrary to the common notion that cars are depreciating assets.

This particular Koenigsegg Regera is finished in a Blue Horizon Metallic paint color and features the optional Ghost Package, which reduces weight thanks to various carbon fiber components as well as additional fins on the front and rear wings.

The Koenigsegg Regera is equipped with a hybrid powertrain, consisting of a 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8 petrol engine and three electric motors. The total power output of the Koenigsegg Regera is 1,500 horsepower, and it has a peak torque of 2,000 Nm.

Unlike many other cars, the Koenigsegg Regera does not have a traditional gearbox. Instead, the Swedish automaker has opted for a direct drive system, which enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds before reaching a top speed of 400 km/h.
