What happened to the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 previously owned by the 80s billionaire from Binh Duong?

In 2019, a real estate tycoon in Binh Duong caused a stir on the internet when they purchased a Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 after previously owning a Ferrari 488 GTB. At that time, these two supercars were valued at no less than 40 billion VND due to their white license plates.

In July 2022, the car appeared in the used car market. According to research, this “Italian super bull” is currently being sold for over 17 billion VND – cheaper than a new car by about 13 billion VND. However, until now, no wealthy person has made a big purchase.

This is the common situation in the car market this year as there are still 5 other Aventador LP700-4s for sale and have not found new owners yet.

After 7 years in Vietnam, the car still maintains a relatively new and intact exterior compared to many other cars of the same generation. The white exterior paint is accented with black details made from composite materials such as the front air scoop cover, front lip spoiler, side air scoop covers, diffuser, and rear air scoop cover.

The wheels of this Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 are double-arm, black painted, 20 inches in size. Hidden inside are black brake calipers and ceramic brake discs. In fact, these wheels were originally used for the roadster variant, but due to their eye-catching design, many domestic owners upgraded them for the coupe version.

The car’s original exhaust system has been upgraded to an iPE Exhaust, made from better insulation materials. The new exhaust pipes make the sound of the already powerful V12 engine more forceful and thunderous.

The supercar still comes with a naturally aspirated V12 engine, with a displacement of 6.5 liters, and no performance upgrades. This engine produces 690 horsepower and a maximum torque of 690 Nm, coupled with 4-wheel drive and a 7-speed ISR automatic transmission. Thanks to that, this “Italian super bull” can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds before reaching a top speed of 350 km/h.

With a price of over 17 billion VND, this Lamborghini Aventador is a reasonable choice despite its 7-year-old age. In this price range, Vietnamese millionaires can choose other models like the Ferrari 296, McLaren Artura, etc., but they all have turbocharged or hybrid engines.

On the contrary, the Aventador is the last supercar line to use the naturally aspirated V12 engine from the Italian brand. Therefore, the value of the car may still increase over time.
