The first images of the Kia Morning 2024 have been posted on a Korean automotive forum. This is just an upgrade version in the current generation of the Kia Morning.
Kia’s decision to upgrade the current generation of the Morning instead of introducing a new generation is understandable in the context of decreasing sales of small urban cars and stricter emission regulations in Europe, where the A-segment cars are widely used.
The exterior images show that the new Kia Morning has been influenced by the EV9 electric car model. The front is eye-catching with vertically designed main lamps using LED technology, and the front bumper is more aggressive. The rear of the car has slender LED taillights, and the lower bumper has a sporty design with air vents.
The only interior image of the Morning 2024 shows that the car is equipped with a fully electronic speedometer with a 4.2-inch display, a D-Cut steering wheel with full functions for cruise control and speed limit.
The area between the two front seats now has an armrest, and the hand brake is still manual instead of being upgraded to electric.
It is highly likely that the Korean automaker will make improvements in safety technology for the new Morning, such as adding hill-start assist and automatic emergency braking. The current version of the Morning in some countries already has lane-keeping assist, blind-spot detection, and cross-traffic alert.
Since this is just an upgrade version in the current generation, Kia will not have any engine upgrades for the Morning 2024. This A-segment hatchback currently uses a 1.25L engine, producing 83 horsepower and a maximum torque of 122 Nm.
