The Hyundai Creta locally assembled version has officially arrived at dealerships and is ready to reach Vietnamese customers. According to research from Tri thức trực tuyến, the local assembly version of the Hyundai Creta has officially arrived at dealerships and is ready to reach customers in Vietnam. In the domestic versions, the equipment and prices of the Hyundai Creta remain unchanged and there are no changes compared to the fully imported cars from Indonesia. Specifically, the listed prices of the domestic Hyundai Creta are 640 million VND for the Standard version, 690 million VND for the Special version, and for the Premium version, Vietnamese customers need to spend 740 million VND to own this B-segment SUV. “Currently, the dealerships still have a number of imported Hyundai Creta models. After the dealerships sell out of these imported cars, customers will only have the option of the locally assembled Hyundai Creta,” the staff member said. According to sales advice, the fully imported Hyundai Creta cars from Indonesia are offered a discount of 35 million VND for the Standard and Special versions. For the Premium version, the discount is 29 million VND. “The locally assembled Hyundai Creta cars can also be offered the same discount program that is applied to the imported car group. In addition, customers who buy the locally assembled Hyundai Creta also have the possibility of enjoying the priority policy from the Government,” this person revealed. |

With the launch of the locally assembled Hyundai Creta, the Hyundai product line in the Vietnamese market is almost completely localized. As of the present time, the only remaining fully imported “newcomer” is the Hyundai Stargazer from the Indonesian market. Hyundai Creta was officially launched in March 2022 and aims to fill the gap in the market after the Hyundai Kona withdrew from Vietnam due to supply issues. This B-segment SUV had a relatively slow start with only 54 units sold in the first month but quickly gained momentum and ended 2022 in 10th place on the best-selling car list. After 4 months of 2023, the Hyundai Creta is temporarily being overtaken by the Toyota Corolla Cross with a sales gap of more than 1,400 units. The Korean brand’s B-segment SUV has sold 3,284 units since the beginning of the year, equivalent to an average monthly sales of 821 units.
