In the auction on January 2nd, the Vietnamese Auction Joint Stock Company brought 7,000 beautiful license plates for auction.
The highlight of the auction that day was not only the license plate 88A-666.66, which was auctioned for nearly 30 billion VND, but also a quadruple license plate 99A-688.88 which was also sold at a high price of 3.745 billion VND.
With nearly 4 billion VND, people could easily afford expensive cars, but many chose to invest in license plates.
Apart from these two premium license plates, there were also several other beautiful plates auctioned for billions of VND on January 2nd. For example, the license plate 98A – 699.99 reached 1.45 billion VND. The license plate 38A – 599.99 from Ha Tinh reached 1.225 billion VND.
According to the new auction regulations, starting from December 16th, 2023, the auction time will change, reducing from 60 minutes to 30 minutes. Participants can use their phone numbers to register for an auction account. They can also use their ID card numbers and tax numbers for businesses.

In addition, when the registration period ends and there is only one person who meets the auction requirements, the license plate will be transferred to that person.
