In the past, the C-segment crossover race was dominated by Mazda CX-5, Honda CR-V, and Hyundai Tucson. However, the newcomer Ford Territory has now taken the place of the CR-V and is competing with the Tucson to claim the top spot alongside the CX-5 in terms of sales.

Here are the detailed sales figures for the C-segment crossover models in the Vietnamese market in November 2023 and the cumulative total for the 11 months of 2023:

Looking at the data table above, it can be seen that with 1,727 units sold, the Mazda CX-5 easily dominates the C-segment crossover market in the Vietnamese market in November 2023. In second place is the Hyundai Tucson with 1,177 units delivered to customers. The third position belongs to the Ford Territory with 1,066 units sold.

Meanwhile, the remaining 3 positions have relatively modest sales figures. Specifically, the Honda CR-V sold 539 units, the Mitsubishi Outlander sold 339 units, and the Kia Sportage only sold 200 units.

Despite being adjusted for price twice in a row within 1 month, with prices ranging from 759-999 million VND, the lowest in the segment, the Mazda CX-5 still receives a lot of attention from users, becoming the best-selling model in the segment not only in November 2023 but also in the cumulative total of 11 months of 2023.

Specifically, the accumulative sales of Mazda CX-5 after 11 months reached 14,758 units, dominating the segment. The sales of CX-5 are nearly 3 times higher than the sales of the Hyundai Tucson and about 7 times higher than the sales of the Mitsubishi Outlander and Kia Sportage.

In addition to the outstanding appeal of the Mazda CX-5, the surprising model in the segment is the Ford Territory, which holds the second position with nearly 7,000 units sold after 11 months in 2023.

The third position belongs to the Hyundai Tucson. After 11 months, Tucson sold over 5,000 units. The next positions belong to the Honda CR-V, Mitsubishi Outlander, and Kia Sportage.

There is only 1 more month left until the end of 2023 and it is highly likely that the Mazda CX-5 will firmly hold the top position in the segment with completely dominant sales figures. Meanwhile, the second and third positions in the segment will be a close competition between the Hyundai Tucson, Ford Territory, and Honda CR-V.
