Ford Performance, responsible for Ford’s high-performance sports products, has recently announced the official power specifications of the engine on the 2024 F-150 Raptor R model.

Accordingly, in the new generation, the F-150 Raptor R will have a power output of 730 horsepower and a maximum torque of 868 Nm. These figures help Ford F-150 Raptor R distinguish itself from the rival Ram 1500 TXR (which has 712 horsepower).

The American automaker announced that the vehicle will still use a 5.2-liter supercharged V8 engine called the Carnivore. However, the engine block has been refined to reduce charge air losses and provide more even torque at all engine speeds.

Accompanying the powerful V8 engine is a 10-speed automatic transmission, an electronic 4×4 dual-range transfer case with mechanical lock, and an electronic limited-slip differential at the rear axle.

In the new generation, the F-150 Raptor R sports a more aggressive appearance with slight tweaks to the grille, headlights, and taillights.

Furthermore, the 2024 F-150 Raptor R features a sportier hood, 37-inch off-road tires, as well as the new Nitro Tough high-performance brake system and the all-new FOX Dual Live Valve suspension system, which make it easier to navigate challenging terrains.

The front bumper of the truck has also been reinforced, and the Fox Dual Live Valve shock absorbers have been improved with 24-inch coil springs for better control.

Inside the cabin, all seats in the F-150 Raptor R pickup truck are upholstered in premium leather and Alcantara. The backrest and steering wheel are adorned with red R accents for added visual appeal.

The performance has been fine-tuned, resulting in an increase in the price of the 2024 F-150 Raptor. Specifically, the standard version has a starting price of $79,975, while the Raptor R with the V8 engine starts at $111,550.
