On January 2nd, the Vietnam Auction Joint Stock Company continued to auction off 7,000 beautiful license plates.
At the morning auction session, from 9:30 am to 10 am, all attention was focused on the license plate six consecutive 6s of Vinh Phuc 88A-666.66. From the first minutes, the price of this license plate continuously increased. At the end of the 30-minute auction, the beautiful license plate was sold for 29.43 billion VND.
Currently, this is the highest-priced license plate since the first auction on September 15, excluding plates with high bids but were forfeited.
The reason why the license plate with six consecutive 6s was sold for such a high price is because the number 6 symbolizes “wealth” and is paired with the number 88 at the beginning of the plate. The owner of this license plate will experience prosperity and good luck in all aspects of life.
In addition to the aforementioned premium license plate, there were also other beautiful plates that fetched billions of VND. Some examples include: plate 99A – 688.88 sold for 3.45 billion VND, plate 98A – 699.99 sold for 1.45 billion VND, and plate 38A – 599.99 from Ha Tinh sold for 1.225 billion VND.
