Recently, Hyundai Thành Công has announced the price adjustment of two models, Tucson and Santa Fe, in Vietnam.
Accordingly, the standard 2.0 Petrol Hyundai Tucson will be adjusted to increase the price by 30 million VND. The current price of the car is 799 million VND. The special 2.0 Petrol version now has a price of 879 million VND, an increase of 40 million VND.
The special 2.0 Diesel version also has been adjusted to increase by 90 million VND, with the new price of the car being 959 million VND. The corresponding increase for the 1.6 Turbo Tucson version is 60 million VND. The new price for this version after the adjustment is 959 million VND.
Not only Tucson, but the Hyundai Santa Fe model also has its price adjusted. Specifically, both the standard 2.5 Petrol and the premium 2.5 Petrol versions have increased the price by 60 million VND. The new selling price of these two versions is 1.029 billion VND and 1.21 billion VND, respectively.
For three standard 2.2 Diesel, premium 2.2 Diesel, and Hybrid versions, the increase is 70 million VND each. The new selling price of these three versions is 1.12 billion VND, 1.269 billion VND, and 1.369 billion VND, respectively.
Previously, in early October 2023, Hyundai Thành Công adjusted the listed price of the Tucson model from 76 – 191 million VND, bringing the car price to the range of 769 – 899 million VND, the lowest in the segment.
Meanwhile, Santa Fe also had its price adjusted from 86 – 176 million VND, bringing the selling price of this model down to 969 million to 1.299 billion VND (depending on the version).
This price increase is explained by the impact of increasing input material prices.
Currently, both of these models are still eligible for a 50% discount on the registration fee granted by the government as they are domestically assembled cars. However, this policy will only be in effect until the end of December 31, 2023. Therefore, customers who want to buy a car need to take advantage of these incentives.
Hyundai Tucson and Santa Fe are both popular SUV models in Vietnam. Among them, Hyundai Tucson is the 4th generation, launched in Vietnam in December 2021. It is powered by 3 engine options: 2.0L Smartstream, 1.6 Turbo SmartStream, and 2.0 Diesel SmartStream. All three engines are combined with the HTRAC all-wheel drive system and Hyundai SmartSense active safety system.
The current Hyundai Santa Fe is an upgraded version of the 4th generation, which was introduced to the Vietnamese car market in May 2021. The car possesses a sporty and masculine exterior design with muscular lines.
In the Vietnamese market, Hyundai Santa Fe is equipped with three engine options: SmartStream 2.5L Petrol, SmartStream 2.2L Diesel, and Turbo Hybrid 1.6L T-GDi. Combined with that is the HTRAC all-wheel drive system and Hyundai SmartSense active safety system.
