Suzuki dealerships are simultaneously offering discounts for 3 models including the Ertiga Hybrid, XL7, and Swift up to 140 million VND (approximately 6,000 USD) at the beginning of 2024. Accordingly, the Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid is discounted up to 140 million VND (approximately 6,000 USD) for the AT version, while the MT version still has a discount of about 84 million VND (approximately 3,600 USD). The reason for the deep discount is that the AT version is produced from 2022, while the MT version is still the 2023 version.
The deep discount has brought the actual price of this model to the lowest in its segment, around 455 to 470 million VND (approximately 19,000 to 20,000 USD) depending on each dealership and promotional policies. The Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid has been discounted several times since its launch in September 2022, gradually increasing the discount to 140 million VND (approximately 6,000 USD) as of now. However, the sales volume of this model has not met expectations. Until the end of November 2023, the Ertiga Hybrid only sold slightly over 800 units, which is insignificant compared to competitors in the same segment such as the Mitsubishi Xpander (nearly 17,000 units) and Toyota Veloz Cross (over 7,600 units).
Another Suzuki model, the XL7, also has a discount of up to 70 million VND (approximately 3,000 USD), bringing the price down from 600 million VND (approximately 25,700 USD) to 530 million VND (approximately 22,800 USD). Until the end of November 2023, this model has sold more than 2,300 units. The small-sized Swift is also discounted by about 55 million VND (approximately 2,400 USD) depending on each dealership, with a selling price of around 505 million VND (approximately 21,700 USD).
This is also the most attractive B-segment hatchback in the Vietnamese market. Currently, this model is in its last life cycle and is likely to launch a new version in the near future as the new generation has been introduced in the Japanese market with many major changes, including a hybrid version.
The Suzuki Swift in the Vietnamese market is completely imported from Thailand. The Suzuki Swift is equipped with a 10-inch touch screen compatible with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, integrated reverse camera, and USB, AUX, and Bluetooth connectivity. Under the hood, the Suzuki Swift uses the K12M 1.2L engine, 4 cylinders, generating a maximum power of 82 PS and a maximum torque of 108 Nm, combined with a CVT gearbox. In the Vietnamese market, the Suzuki Swift competes with the Toyota Wigo, Hyundai Grand i10, etc.
