Chinese automaker Hongqi has recently launched a brand new luxury bus called Gouyue.

According to Carscoops, Gouyue will not be widely available for sale but will be distributed in limited quantities to governments or large companies and hotels.

This bus model has 3 configurations: a commercial version with 20 or 23 seats, a luxury version with 17 or 19 seats, and a premium version with 17 seats. Gouyue’s dimensions are equivalent to those of typical small buses, including a length of 7,295 mm, width of 2,090 mm, height of 2,785 mm, and wheelbase length of 3,990 mm.

The difference of Gouyue is its focus on power and luxury, thereby enhancing the travel experience of customers. All seats in the bus are upholstered in premium beige leather. The bus is also equipped with an entertainment screen, wireless charging, a dining table, and a cup holder right behind the driver’s seat. Near the entrance is a small refrigerator designed specifically. In addition, the bus also has a sunroof.

Externally, the design of Gouyue still carries many distinctive features of the Hongqi brand, such as a waterfall-shaped grille and the “red flag” icon on the body. The headlights and daytime running lights are both LED. The shiny chrome rims are adorned with the brand’s logo in the middle.

The Hongqi Guoyue is equipped with a turbocharged V6 engine, with a displacement of 3.0L, producing a power output of 292 horsepower and a maximum torque of 420 Nm. The bus can reach a top speed of about 130 km/h and has a fuel consumption of about 16 l/100 km on average mixed roads.
