The upcoming new generation MG3 has unexpectedly had its images leaked while shooting an advertisement in preparation for its debut.

According to the leaked images, this new hatchback shares many similarities with its electric siblings, the MG4 and MG5 sedan.

The front of the car is impressive with its slim headlights and wide, low-set grille. The sides of the car feature bold sculpted lines, along with a 5-spoke wheel design resembling a flower petal.

Although the interior is not revealed, according to various sources, the 2024 MG3 will borrow elements from the MG5, including modern features such as a 3D map display digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless phone charging pad, and ambient lighting.

As confirmed by the company, the 2024 MG3 will be available with two engine options: gasoline and gasoline-electric hybrid. However, specific details are still being kept under wraps.

It is expected that the new generation MG3 will be launched in the domestic market in 2024, followed by other markets.
