Hyundai is set to unveil the upgraded version of the Creta in the Indian market on January 16, 2024. Before that, the Hyundai Creta 2024 has started appearing at dealerships in this South Asian country. Thanks to these images, we can get a glimpse of the actual design of the car.

Just like the previous teasers suggested, the Hyundai Creta 2024 has undergone significant improvements in terms of exterior design. The freshness of this compact SUV can be clearly seen in the front and rear areas of the car.

At the front, the Hyundai Creta 2024 features an enlarged grille and a large rectangular center air dam, along with a new two-tier headlight system. Above it is the “L” shaped LED daytime running light strip, positioned horizontally at the top of the car’s front end. Meanwhile, the headlight cluster is vertically arranged and comes with two new LED bulbs placed below it.

Not surprisingly, the side profile of the Hyundai Creta 2024 remains largely unchanged compared to the previous version. The South Korean automaker has only added new dual-tone 5-spoke alloy wheels and new scratch-resistant designs to enhance the appearance of this compact SUV.

At the rear, the car now sports a new taillight cluster with an “L” shaped design inside, as well as a similar daytime running light strip positioned horizontally across the tailgate. Additionally, both the front and rear bumpers come with dark silver accents, further enhancing the sporty appearance of the car.

Similar to the exterior, the interior of the Hyundai Creta 2024 in the Indian market has also been refreshed in terms of design and features. The car is equipped with a new curved display, integrating a digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

In addition to being more luxurious, the Hyundai Creta 2024 in the Indian market also receives significant upgrades in terms of safety, including 6 airbags and 19 active safety features with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). These features provide the car with Level 2 autonomous driving capabilities. The high-end variant will be equipped with a 360-degree camera, blind-spot monitoring, tire pressure monitoring, four-wheel disc brakes, and electronic stability control.

Underneath the hood of the Hyundai Creta 2024 in the Indian market, there will be three engine options. The most notable one is the new 1.5L turbocharged gasoline engine, which is shared with the Hyundai Accent. This engine delivers a maximum power of 160 horsepower and can be paired with either a manual transmission or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

The other two engine options for the Hyundai Creta 2024 will be carried over from the previous version. The first one is a naturally aspirated 1.5L gasoline engine with a maximum power output of 115 horsepower. The second one is a diesel engine with the same displacement and maximum power as the aforementioned gasoline engine. Both of these engines will be paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, a 6-speed automatic transmission, or a IVT continuously variable automatic transmission.

The Hyundai Creta 2024 will be available in a total of 7 variants, but the prices have not been revealed yet. Unfortunately, the changes made to this model will not be applied to the Hyundai Creta sold in Vietnam.
