The amount continued to increase every minute, and ultimately closed at 16.57 billion dong. It seemed that the owner for this license plate had been found, but the second highest bidder also failed to fulfill their financial obligation within the 15-day deadline and had to put the license plate up for auction for the third time.

In the third auction session held on December 6, the license plate 30K-567.89 fetched a price of 12.57 billion dong. Compared to the previous two times, the amount of 12.57 billion dong was considered “modest,” but still highly valued.

License plate 51K-888.88

On September 15, 2023, the license plate 51K-888.88 was auctioned for the first time by the Vietnam Auction Consortium. The “super beautiful” license plate was auctioned for 32.34 billion dong. However, the winning bidder did not fulfill their financial obligation with the authorities.

Afterward, the license plate was auctioned again on October 21, and someone won the bid with over 15.265 billion dong.

In the auction session on November 4, 2023, the license plate 30K-555.55 was sold for 14.495 billion dong. This license plate had a previous winning bid of 14.12 billion dong in the auction session on September 15, but the customer did not fulfill their financial obligation.
