On the morning of January 11th, Vietnam Auction Company (VPA) continued to put up for auction 3,500 license plates.
The most notable auction in the morning session was the 7-digit license plate Hanoi 30K-777.77, which was sold for 9.365 billion VND. This is considered a relatively high price as the 7-digit series, although rare, is not highly regarded by license plate collectors compared to other series like 5, 6, 8, 9.
Apart from the highly sought-after 7-digit series, there were also many other beautiful license plates sold for high prices, such as: license plate 30L-155.55 for 700 million VND, license plate 51L-038.38 for 270 million VND; license plate 30K-879.99 for 245 million VND…
According to the Traffic Police Department, as of January 8th, over 11,000 license plates have been successfully auctioned off for a total amount of nearly 1.7 trillion VND. Among them, about 9,500 license plates have fulfilled the financial obligations, contributing around 1 trillion VND to the state budget. Currently, there are still about 2,000 license plates that are in the process of payment after winning the auction.
