Recently, Toyota Vietnam’s plant was honored to receive the Good Factory 2024 award from the Japan Management Association (JMA). This prestigious award is given to factories that have achieved good results in improving productivity, quality, and operations in manufacturing in Japan and Asia. With the expansion of the domestically assembled product range, meeting Toyota’s global quality standards and implementing efficient management methods, Toyota Vietnam is the only plant outside of Japan to receive this award. This is evidence of the production quality of Toyota Vietnam, which is equivalent to factories in Japan and the region.

In 2023, Toyota introduced new models in various segments: Wigo, Yaris Cross, Innova Cross, and Alphard. Among them, 3 models added Hybrid versions, bringing the total number of Toyota Hybrid models to 6.

The supported businesses have achieved very positive results in reducing inventory and workshop area, maximizing costs, increasing productivity, and improving the working environment for employees. This year, TMV supported an additional 13 suppliers, bringing the total number of supported suppliers to 17.

The number of Toyota suppliers has reached 60, including 13 Vietnamese suppliers with a total of over 1,000 localized products.
