Honda CR-V and Honda City were honored to receive the “Car of the Year” award in the overall market and the Crossover C segment, respectively, at the Car Awards 2023 ceremony.

The “Car of the Year 2023” awards, organized by VnExpress, is a professional program that recognizes and honors exemplary car models launched in the Vietnamese market in 2023. The awards are judged by a panel of experts, including journalists, driving instructors, product researchers, technical experts, and independent judges.

In competitive segments, against formidable rivals, Honda Vietnam (HVN) received the “Car of the Year” awards in the Crossover C and Low-Floor B segments for their two new models launched in 2023 – the Honda CR-V and Honda City, respectively. With the highest score, the Honda CR-V proudly received the prestigious “Car of the Year” award in the overall market for 2023. The evaluation method used by the organizers aimed to select a model that meets the current needs of Vietnamese customers, updates trends in the global automotive industry, and forecasts and anticipates consumer demands in the future.

These awards reflect the trust of customers and the high evaluation of the Quality Expert Council for Honda’s models, confirming HVN’s commitment to delivering high-quality products that cater to their customers’ needs.

Honda CR-V

The 6th generation Honda CR-V, introduced by HVN in October 2023, offers two engine options: Hybrid and conventional gasoline. It combines powerful performance with fuel efficiency and comprehensive changes to provide a completely new experience for customers, maintaining notable characteristics such as “Superior Sport Performance – Advanced Technology – Maximum Convenience and Comfort”.

The all-new Honda CR-V, with its message of “Breaking through with Power,” features a sporty design and a larger size, exuding a powerful presence. As a premium sports SUV with outstanding value, the all-new Honda CR-V has elevated SUV standards to a new level with the Honda CONNECT communication system and the advanced Honda SENSING safety driving support system applied to all versions. These features provide owners with a reassuring driving experience on every road.

Furthermore, in line with the commitments of the Vietnamese government and Honda Motor, to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, HVN introduced the e:HEV RS Hybrid engine for the Vietnamese market for the first time. The all-new Honda CR-V’s environmentally friendly Hybrid system is equipped with a combination of two motors and a 2.0L internal combustion engine, generating a maximum output of 204 Hp (152 kW). This provides superior and smooth performance, delivering an exciting driving experience.

Honda City

The 5th generation Honda City, officially launched in the Vietnamese market in July 2023, brings a more athletic and safer sedan with a sportier and more personal design. The exterior design features aggressive lines, giving it a dynamic look. It is equipped with new alloy wheels and luxurious leather interior (RS, L).

It offers enhanced safety with additional features such as the advanced Honda SENSING safety driving support system, applied to all versions, and modern convenience with the superior Honda CONNECT communication system available in the RS version.
