The 2018 Rebel 500 was officially distributed, at that time, HVN brought to the cruiser community a new and optimized option in the mid-range large displacement motorcycle segment. In the 2024 version, the Rebel 500 will be refreshed with a collection of stylish and powerful colors, but still elegant.

The 2024 Rebel 500 is renewed with three main colors: New Black Blue, New Black Silver, and Matte Black which are maintained from the 2023 version. The New Black Blue version replaces the red color in the 2023 model. With the New Black version, the silver color replaces the gray color in the previous version.

The Rebel 500 attracts big displacement motorcycle enthusiasts with its simplicity, neatness, and flexibility. The motorcycle has a high tank and handlebars, with a classic feel. In particular, the tubular frame, low center of gravity, and gradually tapered shape towards the rear help the rider maintain a straight back, comfortably stretch their legs on long journeys, but also extremely flexible for those who regularly travel on crowded city streets. The seat height of 690 mm is suitable for the majority of Vietnamese people.

The Rebel 500 is equipped with a parallel twin DOHC engine with a displacement of 471cc, 8 valves, liquid cooling. The engine produces a maximum power of 33.5 kW at 8,500 rpm and achieves a maximum torque of 43.3 Nm at 6,000 rpm.

The improved PGM-FI fuel injection system generates higher torque and achieves maximum torque at lower rpm, providing smooth operation and stable acceleration. The engine is equipped with a two-way assist and slip clutch system, making the clutch lever and shifting feel lighter. In addition to the single disc brake system on both the front and rear wheels, ABS brakes are also equipped to prevent wheel lock when the rider brakes suddenly on slippery surfaces.

This 500cc cruiser has a front telescopic fork with 41mm diameter tubes and twin coil springs at the rear wheel. The wheels are made of lightweight, durable alloy alongside an 11.2-liter fuel tank that provides many conveniences for users.

The minimalist round clock face, compact size, negative LCD display with gear position indication, front lights, turn signal system, and rear lights still maintain the LED bulb design compared to the previous model.

The new Rebel 500 is fully imported from Thailand and is officially sold in the market with a 2-year unlimited mileage warranty policy from January 21, 2024, at the Honda BigBike Store system with a suggested retail price of 181,300,000 VND (including VAT).
