The Car Awards 2023, which is in its third edition, is a program organized by VnExpress to vote for and honor outstanding products in the automotive industry. This year’s “Car of the Year” voting program has 3 award categories, with the following models being nominated:

Car of the Year by segment:

– B-Segment Low Sedan: Honda City

– B-Segment Crossover: VinFast VF 6

– C-Segment Crossover: Honda CR-V

– D-Segment SUV/Crossover: Kia Sorento

– Small Luxury SUV: Mercedes GLC

– Midsize Luxury SUV: Porsche Cayenne

New Star – This category is not scored and is chosen by the Organizing Committee to honor new models that have attracted much attention from users and the automotive community. The VinFast VF 5 is the winner of this award.

Car of the Year 2023 – This is the overall award of the Car Awards 2023, selected by the judging panel based on criteria such as outstanding performance in the segment, trend updates, and customer accessibility in the segment. In the end, the Honda CR-V was named Car of the Year 2023. VinFast VF6 came in second and the Mercedes GLC came in third.
