As one of the highest-paid soccer players in the world, Cristiano Ronaldo can easily afford super yachts, luxury villas, private jets, and of course, a massive collection of supercars. In fact, CR7 recently exclaimed that he couldn’t even remember how many cars he owns in a recent post, where he showed off his latest purchase, the fastest SUV in the world, the Ferrari Purosangue.
It’s not surprising to see the Ferrari Purosangue in CR7’s car garage, as he is a devoted fan of the Italian brand. In fact, in May 2021, the greatest soccer player in the world even skipped a practice session to visit the Ferrari factory, and there are rumors that he purchased a secret car, although it has yet to be revealed.
In his post sharing about his son, CR7 also included a photo with a blue Ferrari Purosangue and humorously commented that he couldn’t remember how many cars he owns. Car enthusiasts estimate that his car collection consists of about 35 vehicles, with the F12tdf being a limited edition Ferrari.
The Ferrari Purosangue is an intriguing high-performance SUV that doesn’t have any direct competitors in terms of power, price, and marketing strategy, as it focuses on exclusivity. It is the first high-performance SUV from Ferrari, and the brand doesn’t compare it to any other manufacturer. Moreover, it is the only SUV among luxury brands such as Aston Martin or Lamborghini that is equipped with a V12 engine, a powerhouse in the world of speed. The Ferrari Purosangue starts at $398,350, approximately 9.5 billion VND, which is almost double the price of a Lamborghini Urus S or an Aston Martin DBX 707.
Aside from its spacious luggage compartment and enough room for four adults to sit comfortably, the standout feature of the Ferrari Purosangue is its reverse-opening doors, which make it easier for rear passengers to access the cabin, creating a unique and stylish element for the Ferrari Purosangue.
By investing 9.5 billion VND, CR7 will get something that SUVs from Lamborghini or Aston Martin can’t provide: a 6.5-liter, naturally aspirated V12 engine, a legendary feature that any Ferrari enthusiast would adore.
This engine will allow the Ferrari Purosangue to generate a maximum power of 715 horsepower and a peak torque of 715 Nm. The car’s power is combined with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel drive, enabling the Ferrari Purosangue to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds and reach a top speed of over 310 km/h.
