The Hongqi H9 models are developed based on the platform of the Audi A6L. The car has a length of 5,137 mm, a width of 1,904 mm, and a height of 1,492 mm. This is attributed to the fact that the chief designer of Hongqi, Giles Taylor, was formerly the design director of Rolls-Royce.
The interior of the Hongqi H9 is also luxurious compared to its price. The seats are upholstered with premium Alcantara and H-Nappa leather. The car features a 12.3-inch entertainment screen. The 4-seat version includes additional features such as massage functions and a control panel located in the armrest, which can be adjusted up to 120 degrees for the rear seats. Mercedes-Benz E-Class owners can only dream of such features.
The Hongqi H9 Premium 2.0 model is equipped with a mild-hybrid powertrain consisting of a 2.0L engine combined with an electric motor from Bosch. It produces a corresponding output of 248 horsepower and 380 Nm of torque. The car uses a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and an electronic air suspension system.
Meanwhile, the Bentley Mulsanne, a luxury car model, has been discontinued. Its V8, Biturbo engine with a displacement of 6.75 liters, offering a maximum output of 505 horsepower at 4,200 rpm and a peak torque of 1,020 Nm at 1,750 rpm, has also been removed.
This engine is combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. Thanks to this powertrain, the Bentley Mulsanne can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.1 seconds before reaching a top speed of 305 km/h.
