The Road to Hanoi Marathon 2024 organized by Rally The Globe is an exciting journey that gathers 26 vintage cars traveling through 3 Indochinese countries: Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia. The group will make its first stop in Vietnam, exploring some destinations before crossing the border to our neighboring countries Cambodia and Laos, and then returning to our country to discover Hanoi.
The first leg of the Road to Hanoi Marathon 2024 journey starts from Saigon, where the participants will venture into the rubber forest in Binh Phuoc province, cruising the dusty roads previously conquered by experienced drivers, leaving many in awe of the adventurous spirit of these millionaires.
Afterwards, the convoy traveled to the dreamy city of Dalat in Lam Dong province, a popular destination for international car convoys seeking unique experiences. Along the journey, they garnered the attention of onlookers.
Among the participating cars were 4 vintage Bentleys, including the 1927 Bentley 1/2 Le Mans from the UK, the 1936 Bentley DHC from the US, the 1947 Bentley Speed 8 from Belgium, and the 1953 Bentley R Type from South Africa.
The Porsche brigade consisted of 3 cars, including a 1972 911 from the US-New Zealand team, a 1973 911 Targa from the UK team, and a 1974 911 (also the youngest car in the convoy) from the UK-Turkish team. The Mercedes group brought a 1966 Mercedes 230 SL from the Netherlands team, 2 Mercedes 350 SL from the Swiss & Turkish team, a 1972 Mercedes 450 SLC from the US team, and a 1974 Mercedes 350 SL from the Swiss team.

Based on the information we have, the “youngest” car in the convoy is 50 years old, while the oldest car is 97 years old. In total, there are 26 cars, 26 teams, with 2 people per car and 9 support vehicles.
