According to information from some sales consultants at dealerships, the upgraded version of the 2024 Toyota Corolla Cross will be brought to the Vietnamese market in the second quarter of this year with many changes in exterior and interior design. The car is expected to eliminate the standard G version and only retain the V and HV versions, thereby creating a clearer distinction compared to its sibling, the Yaris Cross. The car will continue to be imported from Thailand.
In addition, the car will also receive some upgrades in terms of equipment, including the addition of new headlights/taillights and wheels.
Inside the cabin, the new Corolla Cross might have a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a larger 10.5-inch touchscreen infotainment display with support for wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, as well as wireless charging. Furthermore, Toyota might also add a panoramic sunroof along with an electronic parking brake with an auto hold function.
The 2024 Toyota Corolla Cross is expected to be launched in Thailand on February 8th. In this country, the car may have up to 8 airbags and could receive an enhanced version of the Toyota Safety Sense system, with the addition of active cruise control at all speeds.
As for engine options, Toyota might retain the 1.8L gasoline engine and the 1.8L hybrid engine. The hybrid version could receive a new battery pack that allows the Corolla Cross to travel a longer distance in pure electric mode.
