The latest generation of the BMW 3 Series, called the BMW Vision Neue Klasse (which means New Class), was unveiled for the first time at the 2023 IAA Munich Motor Show. It is the newest version of the BMW Dee concept. It is expected to go into production by the end of 2025.
Similar to how the BMW i7 and 7 Series are similar cars with different powertrains, the next-generation BMW 3 Series and Neue Klasse sedan are also the same in this regard.

The new electric sedan 3 Series will be named the i320 or i330 depending on the variant, while the internal combustion engine versions of the 3-Series will drop the ‘i’ (for gasoline variants) and ‘d’ (for diesel engines) in the name and will be simply named 320 and 330.
