According to reliable sources, Toyota is planning to reintroduce the Previa minivan to the market in the near future.
The Toyota Previa is a car model that has been in existence for nearly 30 years. After going through three generations, the model was officially discontinued in 2019.
If it does make a comeback, it is highly likely that the new Toyota Previa will be developed on the e-TNGA platform, which is solely designed for electric vehicles. The electric drivetrain will come with a battery pack that can provide a range of up to 600 km per charge. The drivetrain can either be front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
Since the new Previa will be equipped with an electric drivetrain, the vehicle’s size is expected to be larger compared to its previous gasoline version. The next generation Previa will likely be positioned in the same segment as the Alphard.
It is highly likely that the Previa name will be replaced with a different name to align with Toyota’s electric vehicle lineup. The expected price range of the Toyota Previa 2025 is around 6.5 million yen (equivalent to 1.06 billion VND).
