Rolls-Royce Ghost Ekleipsis is a special edition model inspired by a total solar eclipse – one of the rarest celestial events.

Rolls-Royce has recently unveiled the exclusive Ekleipsis edition of its Ghost sedan. This limited edition model draws inspiration from the total solar eclipse phenomenon and is available in a limited quantity of only 25 units, all of which have been pre-ordered.

The Rolls-Royce Black Badge Ghost Ékleipsis Private Collection features a unique copper brown exterior paint color, highlighted by orange accents on the front bumper, wheels, brake calipers, and hand-painted coachline.

The interior of the Rolls-Royce Ghost Ekleipsis has undergone extensive upgrades. The cabin is predominantly black with prominent orange accents, and the seats are upholstered in a unique black/orange two-tone with a gradient color effect.

The dashboard of the Ghost Ekleipsis features a depiction of the stages of a total solar eclipse, with 1,846 stars laser-etched into it. The small clock on the dashboard is fitted with a 0.5 carat diamond.

The Starlight Headliner area is the most special highlight of the interior space. It features a central black area surrounded by 940 stars, with another 192 stars scattered further away. The headliner area simulates the total solar eclipse phenomenon every time the driver enters the car, maintaining it for 7 minutes and 31 seconds – the longest duration of a total solar eclipse ever recorded.

The Rolls-Royce Ghost Ekleipsis is equipped with a twin-turbocharged 6.75-liter V12 engine that produces 592 horsepower. It is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and features all-wheel drive. The car also boasts the characteristic self-leveling air suspension system of the Ghost series, providing a “floating on a carpet” sensation according to the company.

The announcement of the Rolls-Royce Ghost Ekleipsis was made on October 12, just two days before the annular solar eclipse event visible in the Western hemisphere. This special edition follows in the footsteps of Rolls-Royce’s previous celestial-inspired models, such as the Phantom Tempus, which was limited to 20 units and featured a design inspired by the concept of time and stars in the universe.
