The Mercedes-AMG G 63 is a customized version built by Exclusive Auto Club over a period of 6 months, featuring many handmade details and costing up to 3 billion VND.
In the past 3 years, the luxurious SUV Mercedes-AMG G 63 has gained popularity in Vietnam, despite its high price tag of up to 13 billion VND. Furthermore, many G 63 owners are willing to spend hundreds of millions for upgrades on this expensive SUV. The gold-plated Mercedes-AMG G 63 pictured below serves as a testament to the opulence of Vietnamese magnates.
This customized version is called GX63 Heritage and boasts meticulously handcrafted details and the use of 12 tael of 24K gold for interior and exterior decorations. It’s the creation of Exclusive Auto Club (EAC), a renowned workshop specializing in luxury car upgrades in Vietnam. According to a representative from EAC, the company will produce only 8 GX63 Heritage models, each requiring about 6 months to complete, and this one is the first.
The GX63 Heritage sports an enchanting and enigmatic Diamond Black exterior color, following the style of black paint used on the Rolls-Royce Cullinan. Prominent on the paintwork are 24K and 22K gold-plated accents, such as the three-pointed star logo on the hood, the front grille, and the exhaust pipe cap.
The car’s front fascia impresses with a gold-plated horizontal bar grille. The three-pointed star emblem is substituted with the letter H (short for Heritage) against a red background. The front bumper includes gold-plated trim lines and stylized H-shaped patterns.
The H-shaped pattern continues on the car’s sides, transitioning in shade depending on the viewing angle, coupled with the gold-plated words “Heritage Edition”. This detail is entirely hand-drawn and takes nearly 100 working hours to complete.
The 22K gold-plated 22-inch wheels incorporate H-shaped patterns. This design aims to ensure that the brand logo remains upright even while the car is in motion, drawing inspiration from Rolls-Royce models.
The interior of the GX63 Heritage stands out with its premium Hermes orange color, enveloped in Nappa leather and Alcantara suede. Similar to the exterior, all metal details inside the car, such as the Burmester speakers, door locks, seat adjustment buttons, window adjustment buttons, and air vent levers, are gold-plated. The car’s ceiling boasts hundreds of fiber optic lights simulating a starry sky, drawing inspiration from Rolls-Royce models. The remote control for this system is also finished with aluminum, carbon, and 24K gold materials.
The meticulously crafted interior, utilizing various high-quality materials, naturally comes with a substantial price tag. According to representatives from EAC Vietnam, the starting price for upgrading the GX63 Heritage models is around 2.2 billion VND, and with additional customizable features, the upgrade cost can exceed 3 billion VND.
