Starting from early October, various dealers have announced the availability of the Toyota Hilux 2023 Adventure 2.8L 4×4 AT in the Vietnamese market. The regular color variants are priced at 1,077 billion VND, while the pearl white variant is priced at 1,085 billion VND. This car is directly imported from Thailand.
The Toyota Hilux Adventure was previously available in Vietnam since 2021 with a starting price of 913 million VND. However, by July 2022, this model was discontinued due to not meeting the Euro5 emission standards.
Compared to its predecessor, the Hilux Adventure has undergone refinements to comply with the new emission standards. Furthermore, this pickup truck now comes with additional features, including dual-zone automatic air conditioning and a 360-degree camera. The safety technology of the vehicle has also been upgraded with the inclusion of two new features: Blind Spot Warning and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
In Vietnam, the primary competitor for the Toyota Hilux Adventure is the Ford Ranger Wildtrak. The Ford Ranger Wildtrak is priced at 979 million VND, making it approximately 100 million VND cheaper than the Hilux Adventure. Additionally, the Ranger Wildtrak benefits from a 50% reduction in vehicle registration fees as it is locally assembled.
