The new generation Toyota Crown offers four body styles, including Crossover, Sport (SUV), Sedan, and Estate. The Crown Sport is the latest addition to this lineup, with the Sedan and Estate scheduled for release soon.
While the Crown name has long been associated with sedans, the introduction of these new body styles marks a new era for the Crown brand.
The Crown Sport is designed to strike a balance between power and sophistication. Its sleek and sculpted lines, along with its distinctive front face resembling a hammerhead shark, give it a unique and eye-catching appearance. Some have even likened the 2024 Toyota Crown Sport to a high-performance Ferrari SUV.
Equipped with 21-inch wheels and measuring 4,720 mm in length and 1,880 mm in width, the Crown Sport offers a spacious and dynamic driving experience, comparable to the BMW X3.
Inside, the Crown Sport features a minimalist and modern design, highlighted by a 12.3-inch touchscreen entertainment system and a digital instrument cluster. The interior is available in two color tones – Sand Brown and black, as well as an all-black option. On the outside, customers can choose from 6 solid color options and 5 two-tone color options.
For an even more exciting driving experience, the 2024 Toyota Crown Sport is equipped with a specially designed suspension system and Dynamic Rear Steering (DRS), which enhances agility at low speeds and stability at high speeds.
Powering the Crown Sport is a 2.5L series parallel hybrid system with E-Four. The car also comes standard with the latest Toyota Safety Sense, which includes features like Active Driving Assist, Toyota Teammate Advanced Drive, and Advanced Park.
Produced at TMC’s Tsutsumi plant, the Crown Sport is priced at 5,900,000 yen (approximately 40,000 USD). With its unique appearance and impressive features, the Crown Sport is set to make a statement in the luxury SUV segment.
