After several months of its launch in Thailand, another Southeast Asian country is getting ready to welcome the all-new Mitsubishi Triton 2024 pickup truck.

Recently, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines (MMPC) has officially announced the specifications and prices of the all-new Triton 2024. The vehicle will officially hit the market in January 2024.

The truck is available in 7 different versions, with prices ranging from 1,134 to 1,915 million PHP (equivalent to 490 to 828 million VND).

The Mitsubishi Triton 2024 has been developed based on a new and more robust frame system compared to its predecessor, enhancing its off-road capabilities. The truck has dimensions of 5,320 x 1,865 x 1,795 mm in length, width, and height respectively, along with a wheelbase of 3,130 mm and a ground clearance of up to 222 mm.

In its 6th generation, the Mitsubishi Triton 2024 still retains its distinctive Dynamic Shield design language but with modern and refreshed improvements.

The front of the truck is striking with an expanded grille featuring horizontal slats with honeycomb shapes. The sides showcase LED daytime running lights and LED projector headlights similar to the upgraded Mitsubishi Xpander, along with fog lights positioned under the front bumper.

The new Triton also comes with a pre-installed roof rack and sports bars on the truck bed. The rear section of the Triton 2024 has been redesigned with 2 opposing L-shaped LED strips. The vehicle is equipped with new-patterned wheels, with the largest size being 18 inches, paired with 265/60R18 tires.

As for the interior, the cabin of the Triton 2024 is equipped with numerous modern amenities similar to the new Outlander. The Mitsubishi Triton 2024 is powered by a brand-new 2.4L turbocharged 4-cylinder diesel engine offering two power levels: 184 horsepower/430 Nm and 204 horsepower/470 Nm. This engine is paired with a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission, with options for 2WD or 4WD Super Select Full-time 4WD II.

Designed for off-road performance, the Mitsubishi Triton 2024 provides 7 driving modes, including Normal, Eco, Gravel, Snow, Mud, Sand, and Rock. Additionally, this pickup truck features an active locking differential with brake control, a rear differential lock, an Active Yaw Control cornering control system, an independent front suspension, and a rear dual-arm suspension with a stabilizer bar.

Regarding safety technology, the Japanese pickup truck is equipped with an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) that includes features such as adaptive cruise control (ACC), collision and emergency braking warning (FCM), blind-spot warning (BSW), lane change assist (LCA), and rear cross-traffic alert (RCTA).

The new Triton also comes with Mitsubishi Connect technology, allowing users to locate the vehicle, access driving history, check service deadlines, and even control the air conditioning remotely through a smartphone.
