The Miura SV was produced in 1972 and delivered to the Saudi Arabian Royal Family shortly after. This particular car has some unique features that are not commonly found on other Miura models, such as the canard aerodynamic wind deflector attached to the front. Only two Miura cars in the world have this feature. Another rare feature is the engine and gearbox oil separator system, with Lamborghini’s records showing a total of 96 cars equipped with it.
Unfortunately, after changing ownership, the Miura SV was abandoned and left to gather dust for many years. It wasn’t until the early 2000s that the car was discovered in a warehouse owned by the Saudi Royal Family, hidden under a pile of cardboard boxes.
Fortunately, the Miura SV was eventually repurchased and exported to the United States, where it underwent a full restoration process that lasted two years. The entire car body was repainted in a brand new exclusive metallic gray tone called Grigio Fantastico Metallizzato. In early 2011, the car was exported to Europe and has been part of the Joe Macari Classics collection ever since.
