The KIA Tasman, expected to be launched in 2024 and go into production in South Korea in the first half of 2025, has a design that remains a mystery with only a few test prototypes spotted, all heavily disguised.
But enthusiasts don’t have to wait too long, as the NYMammoth channel has created a rendering to give us an idea of what the KIA Tasman pickup truck might look like.
From the rendering, it is evident that the KIA Tasman boasts a high ground clearance, a square-shaped front grille, and vertically-oriented LED daytime running lights inspired by the Mohave. Furthermore, the truck showcases a rugged front bumper and muscular square wheel arches. Personally, I believe that if the KIA Tasman features a modern and masculine design like this, it will certainly give popular pickup truck models on the market today, such as the Ford Ranger and Toyota Hilux, a run for their money.
The Tasman is believed to be a “strategic” pickup truck model, offering both internal combustion engine and electric powertrain options based on the specific market.
Hopefully, in the near future, we will receive more information and images regarding Kia’s all-new pickup truck.
