Yesterday, September 4th, 2023, a viral image circulating on social media caught the attention of many. The image depicted a traffic accident involving a luxury car, Bentley Mulsanne, and a cargo truck.
According to initial reports, the collision between the Bentley Mulsanne and the cargo truck took place in Nghi Ð?c, a district in Vinh City, Ngh? An Province.
The photos taken at the scene of the accident show that the cargo truck rear-ended the Bentley Mulsanne, resulting in damage to the rear end of the luxury sedan. One taillight of the Bentley Mulsanne was shattered, while the truck’s headlight also suffered damage.
Fortunately, there were no reported casualties as a result of the accident. However, both the cargo truck and the Bentley Mulsanne sustained significant damage. It is estimated that the repair costs for the Bentley Mulsanne will exceed a hundred million Vietnamese d?ng.
The Bentley Mulsanne is a luxurious and expensive car model. In Vietnam, a brand-new white-plated Bentley Mulsanne costs over 30 billion Vietnamese d?ng. Based on the headlight design and front bumper, the identified Bentley Mulsanne involved in the accident was spotted in Vinh, an old town in Ngh? An Province.
Currently, the production of the Bentley Mulsanne has been discontinued, and it is estimated that there are fewer than 35 units of this model in Vietnam. In Ngh? An province alone, there are expected to be just three Mulsanne cars, one of which features a special registration number with four consecutive nines, making it visually appealing. Unfortunately, the vehicle involved in the accident has a diplomatic license plate (NG).
The Bentley Mulsanne is equipped with a V8 engine, boasting a displacement of 6.75 liters and twin-turbocharging technology. It generates a maximum power output of 505 horsepower and a peak torque of 1,020 Nm at a low-speed range of 1,750 RPM. Weighing over 2.5 tons, the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 296 km/h.
