Toyota unveiled the Toyota Land Cruiser Se Concept at the Japan Mobility Show 2023. This concept is an electric version of the Land Cruiser and it may be released in the future.

Toyota shared that the dimensions of the Land Cruiser Se will be 5,150 x 1,990 x 1,805 (mm) in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 3,050 mm. These dimensions are similar to the VinFast VF 9 model in Vietnam.

Although both belong to the Land Cruiser family, the newly launched Toyota Land Cruiser Se concept displays no similarities with the original model.

Toyota Land Cruiser Se will employ a monocoque chassis instead of the separate chassis structure used in the regular Toyota Land Cruiser. However, the Japanese automaker assures that the car will still offer flexibility and power when navigating complex terrains.

The Toyota Land Cruiser Se concept features a modern, sleek, and smooth design. The front of the car showcases narrow headlights and rectangular-shaped lights at the corners. Additionally, Toyota equips the car with a lighting strip on the front and rear, creating an impressive visual effect. The traditional side mirrors are replaced by digital cameras in line with future trends.

Currently, information about the interior and powertrain details are kept secret by Toyota. The car is likely to be equipped with 2 electric motors positioned on the front and rear axles, enabling 4-wheel drive.

The Toyota Land Cruiser Se electric model is currently being developed as a concept car. According to representatives of the Japanese automaker, the commercial version may not be launched anytime soon, and global users may have to wait until the end of the decade to experience the car firsthand.
