Following extensive research and analysis, Ferrari has introduced a new LMH car development program, encompassing the design and simulation phases that were recently completed.

Once the car is prepared for track testing, further updates regarding the car’s name and driver details will be provided in the near future.

More than five decades since its last participation in the Sports Car category in 1973, Ferrari is making a comeback to the race track, competing in the Hypercar category of the World Endurance Championship – a race that Ferrari itself played a significant role in establishing.

The iconic prancing horse brand is returning to this prestigious race with an impressive track record, having secured 24 world titles (most recently in 2017) and 36 victories in the 24 Hours of Le Mans race.

Ferrari Chairman, John Elkann, shared, “Over the course of more than 70 years competing on race tracks around the world, we have showcased the full potential of our cars, thanks to innovative technological solutions. These technologies, initially developed for racing, have routinely found their way into the production of our commercial vehicles crafted in Maranello. With our participation in the new Le Mans Hypercar race, Ferrari once again underlines our commitment to motorsport and our unwavering determination to establish a significant presence in major global racing events.”
