Since the end of July, the Mazda2 2023 compact sedan has been officially displayed and available for sale at dealerships.

On the homepage of Mazda Vietnam, the company also updates information about this model. According to that, the Mazda2 2023 sedan will be distributed in Thailand with 3 versions: 1.5 AT, 1.5 Luxury, and 1.5 Premium, with prices ranging from 415 – 499 – 519 million Vietnamese Dong.

Currently, only the sedan version has been upgraded. The hatchback version is still the same and Mazda continues to sell it in parallel.

In this upgrade, the overall design of the Mazda2 sedan has not changed much compared to the previous version. The main difference lies in the grille and wheels.

In particular, the 1.5 AT Standard version is designed in the New Wave Design style with a closed grille resembling an electric car, accompanied by 15-inch gray-painted alloy wheels. The car is also equipped with LED lighting system with automatic angle balancing feature, halogen daytime running lights, power-adjustable mirrors integrated with turn signals and halogen taillights.

The 1.5 Luxury and 1.5 Premium versions are equipped with a honeycomb grille with red accents in the Sport Design style. Along with that are the 16-inch two-tone scratched alloy wheels. The car has upgraded LED position lights, automatic on/off headlights, power-folding mirrors, and automatic rain wipers.

Regarding the interior, the Mazda2 2023 has a 7-inch center screen that supports wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connection. Besides that, it has a 4-way adjustable steering wheel with integrated function keys/sport shift paddles, 6-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with 2 position memory, wireless phone charging, automatic air conditioning…

Providing power for this sedan model is the Skyactiv-G engine, a 4-cylinder, 1.5L capacity, generating a maximum power of 110 horsepower and maximum torque of 144Nm, coupled with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

In terms of safety equipment, the Mazda2 only has some basic features such as ABS anti-lock brakes, electronic brake force distribution EBD, emergency brake assist BA, electronic stability control, traction control, hill start assist, and 2 airbags in the standard AT version…

The 1.5L Luxury version is equipped with cruise control, a reversing camera, and rear collision warning sensors. The 1.5L Premium version will be equipped with 6 airbags.
