According to a report from AutoFun ID, the sixth generation of the Honda CR-V for the Indonesian market will be imported from Thailand, where this crossover model was introduced in the ASEAN region.

The 2023 CR-Vs on the trailers are covered with thin white camouflage to hide the logo and the rear design of the car. Internal sources from PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) revealed that the all-new CR-V could be unveiled in Indonesia at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) next month.

The 2023 Honda CR-V for the Indonesian market could be offered with 2 engine options including a turbocharged 1.5L VTEC engine (for 192 PS of power and 240 Nm of torque) and a 2.0L i-MMD hybrid gasoline-electric engine (for combined power of 185 PS and torque of 335 Nm).

Similar to Thailand, prominent exterior features of the 2023 Honda CR-V for the Indonesian market could include 19-inch alloy wheels with a sporty style, full LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, LED fog lights, automatic headlight on/off, LED taillights, piano black grille with chrome accents, black-colored integrated turn signal side mirrors with power adjustment and power-folding, and auto-folding side mirrors when the vehicle is locked.

In addition, the car also has a shark fin antenna, black rear bumper, RS emblem on the front and rear, rain-sensing windshield wipers, panoramic sunroof, power-operated tailgate…

Inside the cabin, the interior of the car can be wrapped in leather/suede with red stitching. The interior material in the passenger compartment is glossy aluminum and piano black. The accelerator and brake pedals have a sporty design. The 9-inch touchscreen infotainment display supports wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto connectivity, Siri voice command, wireless Bluetooth connectivity, 4 USB ports (2 front/2 rear), BOSE audio system, 12 speakers, and Honda CONNECT connectivity.

The car is equipped with remote engine start system with remote key, Honda Smart Key smart key card, automatic air conditioning system with air vents for the rear seats and air vents for the third-row seats (with the 7-seater version), air filter system, interior ambient lighting system. 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with memory function. 4-way power-adjustable passenger seat. The rear seats can be folded in a 60:40 ratio. The third-row seats can be folded in a 50:50 ratio.
