Finally, a tycoon bid for the license plate 51K-868.68 up to 6.845 billion VND, 150 million VND higher than the second-place bidder. This shows that there was no close competition, instead, the highest bidder was very confident and bid in the last few seconds, creating a high difference between the first-place and second-place bidders.
So, the set of lucky license plates of Ho Chi Minh City with the prefix 51K, numbered 868.68, was bid for nearly 7 billion VND in the license plate auction on November 10, becoming a rare license plate that was re-auctioned for a higher price than the first time.
According to regulations, the winner of the auction for the license plate 51K-868.68 of Ho Chi Minh City must pay the full amount within 15 days from the date of the announcement of the results. This amount will be deducted by the deposit (40 million VND), but does not include the vehicle registration fee. Therefore, the remaining amount that the customer needs to pay is 6.805 billion VND.
