Mitsubishi XForce is expected to be launched in the Vietnamese market in 3 to 4 variants, with the highest-end version featuring an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) package. XForce is the commercial version of the XFC Concept developed to cater to the demand for small-sized SUV/CUV models in the Southeast Asia region. It was first introduced in Indonesia in August.

According to recent information from dealers, Mitsubishi XForce is expected to be available to Vietnamese consumers by the end of December or early January 2024, just before the Lunar New Year. The car will be imported from Indonesia, and the first batch is expected to be delivered to customers after the Lunar New Year.

Currently, XForce is accepting deposits in Vietnam and comes with attractive incentives. From September 1st to November 30th this year, customers can enjoy free maintenance for 2 years or 40,000 km, along with 1,000 loyalty points on the Mitsubishi Connect+ app, depending on the conditions.

In Vietnam, XForce will be available in 3 to 4 variants with prices ranging from 650-750 million VND. Upon its release, Mitsubishi XForce will compete against similar models such as Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, Toyota Yaris Cross, and Mazda CX-3.

The highest-end versions of Mitsubishi XForce will come equipped with an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) package. This package includes features such as adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning and mitigation, auto high beam, forward moving vehicle reminder, blind spot warning with lane change assist, and rear cross-traffic alert.

The new Mitsubishi model has dimensions of 4,390 x 1,810 x 1,660 mm (length x width x height), with a wheelbase of 2,650 mm and a ground clearance of 222 mm.

Mitsubishi XForce features nearly identical interior and exterior designs to the XFC Concept model introduced by the Japanese automaker in Vietnam last year. Some details have been modified to make it suitable for commercial production. Overall, this SUV has a modern and muscular appearance, thanks to Mitsubishi’s distinctive Dynamic Shield design language.

Inside the cabin, XForce offers a luxurious interior space compared to other models in its segment. The dashboard and door trim are upholstered in melange fabric, while the seats feature synthetic leather. The vehicle is equipped with a 12.3-inch infotainment screen with an elegant design, providing a comfortable user experience. The main screen can be divided into three areas, allowing for customization of multiple interfaces and simultaneous display of different information.

The car features the Dynamic Sound Yamaha Premium sound system, developed in collaboration with Yamaha. The system consists of eight speakers, including tweeters on each side of the A-pillar, a front door subwoofer, and dual coaxial speakers in the rear doors.

According to the manufacturer, this 5-seater SUV offers the most spacious and practical interior space in its segment. It comes with various storage compartments, cooled compartments, adjustable reclining seats, and a flexible rear trunk to accommodate various cargo needs.

The XForce is powered by a 1.5L MIVEC, 4-cylinder engine, generating 105 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 141 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. It comes with a CVT automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.

Mitsubishi Motors has high expectations for XForce in the Southeast Asian market. The company aims to expand its market share and sales, competing alongside the Xpander.
