Turning our attention back to Race 2, the heavy rain had a significant impact on the teams’ strategies, forcing them to switch to wet weather tires. This was a less-than-ideal situation for most drivers due to the unpredictable nature of racing in the rain.

The heavy rain resulted in teams having to adjust their strategies and opt for wet weather tires.

This proved to be a challenging scenario, as many drivers encountered difficulties. In the UB150 category, Nguyen Duc Thanh (number 193) and Nguyen Anh Tuan (number 178) opted for a cautious approach, avoiding unnecessary risks. Both drivers performed admirably throughout the race, with Tuan unfortunate to encounter a problem with his car on the final lap, preventing him from finishing the race. This was a source of disappointment for the team, as car number 178 was within close reach of 11th position. On the other hand, Nguyen Duc Thanh completed the race in 13th place overall.

Mr. Daiki Mihara, the General Director of Honda Vietnam, made an appearance at the race track to provide encouragement to the team.

Racing on wet roads is not his forte, but Duc Thanh managed to earn valuable points.

Nguyen Anh Tuan put up a strong performance in the first 7 laps.

In the AP250 category, racer Cao Viet Nam faced disappointment as he crashed on lap 2. Number 65 clearly expressed his dissatisfaction with his own performance.

Mr. Daiki Mihara, the General Director of Honda Vietnam, provided encouragement to racer Cao Viet Nam.

Racing in the rain always presents a major challenge for drivers.

With these results, the trio of racers and the Honda Racing Vietnam team concluded the 2022 Asian Road Racing Championship (ARRC) season. In the UB150 category, Nguyen Anh Tuan secured a total of 20 points, while Nguyen Duc Thanh earned 18 points, placing them 20th and 21st respectively. In the AP250 category, Cao Viet Nam scored 37 points, achieving 13th place overall. The Honda Racing Vietnam team finished 11th in both the UB150 and AP250 categories.

We look forward to the upcoming season with new goals for Honda Racing Vietnam.
