With the race rankings out, Honda Racing Vietnam’s hopes lie on the shoulders of “crazy guy” Cao Viet Nam. According to racer number 65, the temperature at the Chang racetrack this year is hotter than usual, which has somewhat affected the team’s results.

Nguyen Duc Thanh (#193) will accompany his senior, Cao Viet Nam (#65), in the AP250 category.

Nguyen Anh Tuan (#178) will compete in the UB150 category.

Nguyen Minh Tri (#111) will make his debut in the international arena in the UB150 category.

The ARRC 2023 season is expected to kick off with 6 race stages at major racetracks in Asia. With the goal of improving performance and achieving high rankings on the leaderboard, the Honda Racing Vietnam team will continue to compete in the UB150 and AP250 categories with 4 promising riders:

  • Racer Cao Viet Nam – AP250 category
  • Racer Nguyen Duc Thanh – AP250 category
  • Racer Nguyen Anh Tuan – UB150 category
  • Racer Nguyen Huu Tri – UB150 category

In preparation for the new season and with the expectation of breaking into the top 10 in ARRC, HRV has restructured its organization chart to optimize the team’s operations. Each technician and technical director now has clear responsibilities. Additionally, HRV has conducted research to enhance the power of the AP250 engine and collaborated with the Yuzy team in Malaysia to develop racing bikes in the UB150 category. With these new technologies, HRV believes it will provide valuable support to the racers competing in the international arena.

In 2023, the Honda Racing Vietnam team will strive to improve the quality of their selection process and increase the number of riders. This will enhance competitiveness and promote the development and improvement of skills among the riders. It will also create opportunities for the team to support each other in both racing and training. By expanding training collaboration at the Suzuka racetrack in Japan, the Honda Racing Vietnam team can not only further enhance their abilities but also gain experience in a professional and internationally recognized racing environment, improving their performance on high-speed tracks.
