It is truly unfortunate for the members of the Honda Racing Vietnam team who have a strong desire to conquer the challenges of the new season, as well as for those who have supported and continue to support the team. However, ensuring the well-being of the entire team is the top priority for Honda Racing Vietnam. The technical team of Honda Racing Vietnam will return to Vietnam on February 29th instead of continuing the scheduled trip from Thailand to Malaysia.
According to the original schedule, Honda Racing Vietnam was set to compete in all seven stages of the ARRC 2020 in the UB150 and AP250 categories. The first stage was supposed to take place at the Sepang racetrack in Malaysia from March 6th to 8th, 2020.
ARRC 2020 Schedule
The ARRC tournament was first held in 1996 and is recognized as one of the most prestigious racing events in Asia and the Asia-Pacific region. It serves as a platform for national champions to elevate themselves to higher levels and opens up new opportunities for the sport in Asia. The current tournament consists of four competition categories: UB150cc, AP250cc, SS600cc, and ASB1000cc.
HVN, starting out as Yuzy’s racing team from Malaysia, first participated in the Asian Motorcycle Racing (ARRC) in 2016. In the 2019 season, HVN officially established the Honda Racing Vietnam team, becoming the first and only Vietnamese racing team to compete in the ARRC. In their inaugural year, the team made significant progress in the UB150 and AP250 categories.
In the 2020 season, the entire Honda Racing Vietnam team will continue competing in the UB150 and AP250 categories with the goal of achieving even better results than in 2019. The Honda Racing Vietnam team for the ARRC 2020 tournament includes three racers: Nguyen Duc Thanh #193 and Nguyen Anh Tuan #178 participating in the UB150 category, Cao Viet Nam #65 participating in the AP250 category, and Tran Trung Dung serving as the Team Manager cum Technical Chief of the UB150 category.

ARRC 2023 Stage 1 – Exhilarating Emotions with the Astonishing Performance of the “Madman”
When Honda CBR250RR, ridden by Vietnamese racer Cao Viet Nam, crossed the finish line in Race 2 of the opening round of the 2023 Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC), the entire team erupted with joy. Even the “madman” himself couldn’t contain his emotions at that moment, as it was the first time that rider number 65 and the Honda Racing Vietnam team had secured a top-four finish in the AP250 category after years of competing in this championship.
