Introducing the all-new 11th generation Honda Civic: a comprehensive upgrade in design, convenience, equipment, and performance. Experience the compact sedan that exceeds all expectations.

Modern and Timeless Design

The Honda Civic 2022 is a transformative masterpiece in the 11th generation lineup, boasting an entirely new design. With increased dimensions (Length x Width x Height: 4,678 x 1,802 x 1,415 mm; wheelbase: 2.735 mm; ground clearance: 134 mm), the fastback tail has been replaced by a sleeker, more sophisticated sedan shape, appealing to both speed enthusiasts and those seeking a refined aesthetic.

The front design embraces the Solid Wing language, inspired by its siblings, the Honda Accord and the Honda City, featuring a small two-tier grille. The split LED headlamp design adds elegance and modernity to the front-end appearance.

While the Civic 2022 presents a more refined profile compared to its 10th generation predecessor, the range-topping RS variant retains youthful and sporty elements including window trim, door handles, mirror caps, shark fin antenna, black-painted tailgate with small spoiler, and dual exhaust pipes, to name a few.

The Civic RS comes equipped with 18-inch double-spoke wheels inspired by the famous BBS aftermarket brand, adding a sporty touch. Lower variants offer 16 and 17-inch options.

Convenience and Spacious Interior

The increased dimensions and refined design of the Honda Civic 2022 translate to a more spacious interior. Rear passengers can enjoy enhanced comfort, and families will appreciate the generous trunk space.

The cockpit exudes a modern vibe with a leather-wrapped steering wheel featuring integrated paddle shifters. A large display behind the wheel serves as the instrument cluster. The center of the dashboard houses a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment display with touch-sensitive controls, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto integration.

The range-topping variant offers a 2-tone leather-appointed power-adjustable driver seat, auto-dimming rearview mirror, and ambient lighting. To improve visibility, the side mirrors have been relocated from the A-pillar to the doors.

The Honda Civic 2022 is designed with families in mind, offering a host of convenient features such as a 12-speaker Bose sound system, wireless phone charging, 3 charging ports, dual-zone automatic climate control with rear air vents, and smartphone-based vehicle management.

Modern and Advanced Equipment

The Honda Sensing safety package, available on all three variants of the Civic 2022, provides peace of mind for customers on any road. This valuable addition, especially in the compact sedan segment, caters to young families.

In addition to the four main features – adaptive cruise control (including low-speed follow), collision mitigating braking, automatic high-beam headlights, lane-keeping assist, and road departure mitigation – found in the CR-V and the older Accord, the Honda Sensing suite introduces a new feature to the Civic: forward collision warning.

Moreover, the Civic 2022 is equipped with other safety features such as the Lane Watch camera, drowsy driver alert, and a rearview camera. However, it currently lacks a 360-degree camera system, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and front/rear parking sensors.

Sporty and Thrilling Performance

The Honda Civic 2022 has undergone improvements in driving performance compared to its predecessor. Beneath the hood lies the familiar 1.5L VTEC turbo engine, tuned to deliver a maximum power of 176 horsepower and a torque of 240 Nm. Paired with a front-wheel-drive system and a CVT automatic transmission, this powertrain ensures an exhilarating driving experience without compromising the 10th generation’s legacy. The responsive steering wheel provides drivers with an addictive and engaging feel, making every drive enjoyable. Despite the increased dimensions, the car remains nimble and responsive to the driver’s commands.

The manufacturer claims to have significantly reduced noise levels in the new Civic 2022.

Competitive Pricing

The three variants of the Honda Civic 2022 are priced at 730, 770, and 870 million VND for the E, G, and RS range-topping versions, respectively. These competitive prices reflect a significant reduction compared to the previous generation Civic, making it a strong contender against rivals in the same segment, including the Toyota Altis, Mazda3, Kia K3, and the Hyundai Elantra.

The Honda Civic 2022 showcases a new, modern, and practical design with numerous special features, convenience, safety enhancements, and an attractive price point. Honda is determined to establish itself as a formidable competitor in the segment, going head-to-head not only with other sedans but also with popular compact SUVs such as the Hyundai Tucson and the Toyota Corolla Cross.
