Suzuki is planning to showcase several new models and concepts at the upcoming Japan Mobility Show 2023, which will be held from October 26 to November 5 at Tokyo Big Sight. One of the highlights will be the Suzuki Swift Concept, giving us a sneak peek of the upcoming fourth-generation Swift hatchback that is expected to be unveiled in early 2024.
The next-generation Suzuki Swift will feature a fresh design language, both on the exterior and interior. Moreover, it will offer improved fuel efficiency and incorporate advanced features and technologies. The all-new Swift has been spotted undergoing testing worldwide, and its design is expected to be a significant upgrade.
From the test drive photos of the prototype, we can see that the new Swift will feature a revamped front end with sleek LED headlights, a modern clamshell-style hood, an updated front bumper with new fog lights, a wider air intake, new alloy wheels, and redesigned taillights and rear bumper.
In addition, the rear door handles have been repositioned to their conventional location, no longer connected to the pillar. It is anticipated that the Swift will retain its nimble handling characteristics while further enhancing the strength of the Heartect platform.
According to sources, the new Swift will be equipped with a completely new 1.2L 3-cylinder hybrid petrol engine, in combination with the K-series electric motor.
Safety features such as collision-mitigation braking, adaptive headlights, and a driver inattention warning system will be incorporated into the Swift Concept, as confirmed by the Japanese manufacturer.
