After leaked teaser images of the 2024 Kia Sorento surfaced online, Korean Shorts Car channel has now released even clearer images of the new Kia Sorento, showcasing its bold and modern design. Taking inspiration from the Kia EV9 flagship electric model, the car features a daytime running light cluster in the shape of the letter T, reminiscent of the smaller EV5 electric model. The front of the car has undergone a redesign with a new vertical headlight cluster, radiator grille, and front bumper. The rear has also been refined with changes to the taillight design and lower part of the rear bumper. The sides of the car remain mostly unchanged, except for the addition of new sportier-looking alloy wheels. Moving inside, the interior has also received upgrades, notably the 12.3-inch curved screen on the dashboard, replacing the previous 10.25-inch touchscreen. This new screen seamlessly integrates with the digital instrument cluster, giving the 2024 Kia Sorento’s interior a cleaner and more modern appearance. Additionally, leaked information suggests that the upgraded Kia Sorento will continue to offer engine options such as a 2.2L turbocharged diesel engine, a 2.5L 4-cylinder engine, and a 1.6L 4-cylinder hybrid engine. With these leaked images, it appears that Kia is on the verge of officially launching the 2024 Kia Sorento.
