Kawasaki has recently announced the launch of the groundbreaking Ninja 7 Hybrid, the world’s first large-displacement motorcycle to feature a hybrid engine combining both gasoline and electric power. This revolutionary model is set to be produced in significant quantities for commercial release. Sporting a striking silver and black color scheme, the Ninja 7 Hybrid showcases Kawasaki’s iconic signature green accents on its lower fairing.

While the Ninja 7 Hybrid’s design bears similarities to the Ninja 650, it features refined details to accommodate the hybrid powertrain. Notably, this cutting-edge motorcycle boasts a TFT digital display that seamlessly connects to smartphones for enhanced convenience.

Under the hood, the Ninja 7 Hybrid is equipped with a powerful 451cc twin-cylinder gasoline engine, which works in tandem with an electric motor to deliver an impressive total output of 69 horsepower. Remarkably, this level of power puts the Ninja 7 Hybrid on par with other large-displacement motorcycles in the over/under 700cc segment, while still boasting fuel consumption similar to that of a 250cc model.

Kawasaki’s innovative e-Boost feature enhances the acceleration capabilities of the Ninja 7 Hybrid, allowing it to compete with 1,000cc motorcycles. Additionally, riders can choose from three different riding modes: Sport-Hybrid, Eco-Hybrid, and EV2, ensuring a customizable and thrilling riding experience.

This hybrid motorcycle also incorporates Start/Stop technology, further optimizing fuel consumption. The bike’s gearbox offers both automatic AT and manual MT options, catering to a variety of rider preferences. Expected to hit the markets in early 2024, the official pricing for the Ninja 7 Hybrid will be announced at a later date.
