In the final months of 2023, various Isuzu dealerships across the nation have simultaneously launched a promotion campaign for the mu-X model.
As part of this campaign, customers who purchase the B7 and B7 Plus versions of the Isuzu mu-X during this period will receive discounts of 184.6 million VND and 199 million VND respectively. These figures already include discounts from the dealerships and a 50% registration fee exemption provided by Isuzu Vietnam.
The current prices for the Isuzu mu-X B7 and B7 Plus are only 726.2 million VND and 799.8 million VND respectively.
In addition to the B7 and B7 Plus versions, the car also offers two other premium versions called Prestige and Premium. Customers purchasing these versions will not receive the 50% registration fee exemption from the manufacturer but may enjoy a few other small incentives from the dealerships. These versions are currently priced at 1.15 billion VND and 1.25 billion VND respectively.
The Isuzu mu-X is distributed in Vietnam as an import from Thailand. It belongs to the D-segment SUV category, along with the Ford Everest, Toyota Fortuner, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, Nissan Terra, Hyundai Santa Fe, and Kia Sorento. However, its sales volume is typically lower, which is why the manufacturer and dealerships frequently offer substantial discounts to stimulate sales.
The Isuzu mu-X features large dimensions, measuring 4,850 x 1,870 x 1,870 mm (length x width x height), with a wheelbase of 2,855 mm.
The front of the car leaves an impression with its large chrome grille, featuring two long bars that reflect the distinct Isuzu style. Accompanying the grille are slim headlights equipped with LED technology. At the rear of the car, the LED taillights are designed with a more compact appearance.
Within the cabin, the Isuzu mu-X offers 2-tone leather seats, an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, a newly designed 3-spoke steering wheel, and a 9-inch infotainment screen integrated with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The car is also equipped with a dual-zone automatic air conditioning system, along with individual vents for the rear seats positioned on the car’s ceiling. The second-row seats come with armrests and two types of charging ports.
The Isuzu mu-X is powered by a 1.9L turbocharged diesel engine, delivering a maximum power of 150 horsepower at 3,600 rpm and a maximum torque of 350 Nm at 1,800 – 2,600 rpm. The power is transmitted to either the rear wheels (4×2) or all four wheels (4×4) through a 6-speed automatic transmission (6AT).
In terms of safety features, the car offers a range of driving assistance functions, including intelligent cruise control, speed limiter, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, emergency braking, cross-traffic alert when reversing, blind-spot warning, unintended acceleration prevention, tire pressure warning, 8 front and rear sensors, automatic high/low beam, and a 6-airbag system.
