Recently, while driving on the road, some people in Langkawi, Malaysia, witnessed the scene of an old Toyota Vios car driving very fast, not following the lane and swerving dangerously for those around.

Outraged by the reckless driving of the Toyota Vios driver, a group of people chased after him, believing that the driver was drunk. However, these people were shocked when they approached the car, right after it crashed into the roadside.

“Where’s the driver?” is what people heard the men asking in a 95-second video that went viral on social media. To everyone’s surprise, a boy wearing a red round-neck T-shirt and denim shorts crawled out of the car, repeatedly saying that he just wanted to go to a store to buy a toy.

Langkawi ACP police chief, Mr. Shariman Ashari, said that the district traffic police received a report on the accident as soon as it occurred. “The accident occurred when the car was traveling from Ulu Melaka towards Kampung Nyior Chabang. The driver lost control and hit a lamppost near Kampung Titi Chanwang,” Mr. Shariman said. “The driver is a 6-year-old boy, and there is a 3-year-old passenger, his younger brother, in the car.”

Preliminary investigations revealed that the boy comes from Kampung Padang Mengkuang and drove the car without his parents’ knowledge before crashing into the roadside at Jalan Bukit Tangga.

“Dad is asleep, mom went to the toilet when the two boys sneaked out of the house and started driving,” Mr. Shariman revealed.

The two brothers had apparently driven for 2.5 kilometers before losing control of the vehicle. Mr. Shariman mentioned that the older boy had a cut on his chin while his younger brother fortunately escaped death.
